IIS Windows Server 2008 / 2012 - Content-Encoding : gzip : Performance เทคนิค Advanced การส่ง Header แบบเข้ารหัส Content-Encoding : gzip บน IIS ที่ทำงานบน Windows Server 2008 / 2012 ช่วยเพิ่ม Performance ของเว็บไซต์ เพิ่มความเร็ว และลด Bandwidth และวิธีนี้ใช้ได้ทั้ง IIS ที่รัน Application พวก .Net หรือจะใช้ IIS ทำงานร่วมกับ PHP ก็ใช้วิธีนี้เช่นเดียวกัน

ถ้าใช้ IIS เป็น Web Server สามารถปรับแต่งที่ IIS ได้เลย โดยที่ไม่ต้องไปทำการปรับแต่งค่าอื่น ๆ ในโปรแกรม / Web.Config / php.ini

IIS Windows Content-Encoding

ภายใต้ Server Manager -> Web Server ของ IIS เลือก Add Roles Services

ภายใต้ Performance เลือก Dynamic Content Compression

IIS Windows Content-Encoding

ติดตั้งเรียบร้อย

IIS Windows Content-Encoding

ให้ไปที่ IIS เลือก Web Site ของเรา หรือจะทที่ Default Web Site -> Compression

IIS Windows Content-Encoding

เลือก Enable dynamic content compression และ Enable static content compression จากนั้นเลือก Apply และให้ Restart ตัว IIS ซะ 1 รอบ

ตัวอย่างรนี้ผมใช้ IIS บน Windows เพื่อรัน PHP ซึ่งจะเห็นว่ามีการส่ง Header แบบ Content-Encoding : gzip แล้ว
